Data processing is used in particular when you register on our website and/or create a customer account and conclude a user contract in this regard and also when you contact us via forms on our website, by email, post, telephone or other means of remote telecommunication (“data communication”).

If you provide us with data, we use the following personal data, provided that you have made it available to us: First name, surname, address, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, address, telephone number, payment data, order data (“user data”). We use this data exclusively for the purposes of order and order processing (including payment processing), for processing inquiries and for advertising products that may be of interest to you. You will only receive newsletters, e-mails or other electronic messages with advertising information from us with your consent or on the basis of legal permission. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for newsletter registration. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail to the e-mail address provided and only after confirmation of this e-mail (e.g. by clicking on a confirmation link) will your registration become effective. In order to comply with our obligation to provide evidence, the registration is logged (in particular e-mail address and time of registration). 1.5. Advertising, market and opinion research

Personal data will only be used for product-specific surveys and marketing activities if the user has given his or her consent in advance or if this is permitted by law and the user has not objected to this. Your data will be used for advertising, market and opinion research purposes in accordance with the statutory provisions.

1.6. Deletion of personal data; storage period

If you register on our website and/or create a customer account and have provided us with personal data in this regard as part of our user contract, we will store this data for a period of three years after your last contact with us, unless you revoke your consent beforehand.

Electronic communication in connection with the processing of warranty, guarantee or compensation claims against our service providers or vicarious agents is carried out exclusively via e-mail(service@check-in-carwash.com). For this reason, if a contract is concluded, we are obliged to store your personal data after the contract has been fully processed until the expiry of the guarantee, warranty, limitation and retention periods applicable to our service providers or vicarious agents in accordance with the Federal Fiscal Code, and beyond that until the end of any legal disputes in which the data is required as evidence.

If you contact us via the contact form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for 18 months for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions.

Google/Universal Analytics

Check-in carwash GmbH & Co KG uses Google Analytics on some of its websites, including the functions of Universal Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), which is implemented via Google Tag Manager. Universal Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. In addition to Google Adwords, we use the Google Remarketing application. This is a procedure with which we would like to address you again. This application enables our advertisements to be displayed to you when you continue to use the Internet after visiting our website. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which are used by Google to record and evaluate your usage behavior when you visit various websites. This allows Google to determine your previous visit to our website. According to its own statements, Google does not merge the data collected in the context of remarketing with your personal data, which may be stored by Google. We partly use cookies (OAX) from the providers Criteo, Adform, OpenX, casalemedia.com, Google, Econda, Facebook. These cookies are used exclusively for advertising and page optimization purposes. Our website has no influence on the content of cookies. They are used to track and analyze user behavior in order to be able to place targeted, relevant advertising campaigns for the user and to improve the shopping experience on shöpping.at for our customers.
